Biography

A vocalist, songwriter and creative healer weaving Ethiopian soul with global soundscapes. My work explores the poetic edges of identity, love, spiritual awakening and emotional truth — I use voice not just as music, but as medicine, memory and movement.

In 2026 I also trained as a theatre director through NIPAI's "The Director and the Play" programme, on a ShebaStage scholarship, developing an original directorial vision through my work on Ibsen's A Doll's House. I now bring that directing craft together with my music — shaping performance from the first read to the stage.

The Director and the Play — Certificate

NIPAI (New International Performing Arts Institute), Berlin, Germany

"Certificate of Completion in Professional Play Analysis for Directors Duration: 3 months Format: Online / Distance Learning The Director and the Play is a practice-based directing course that teaches how to transform a written play script into a practical directing concept for the stage. It focuses on the director’s journey from reading and analysing a text to making artistic decisions about action, staging, actors, movement, rhythm, and performance structure. The course treats play analysis as a director’s working tool. Students learn how to discover what happens in a play, why it happens, and how those discoveries become concrete choices in rehearsal and performance."
